well yes downloading the drivers were a pain in the bum. There 2000 updates since my copy of XP which was the original lol. I alos did loose all my photos but i did back them up thanks to my laptop which was another genius idea of my dad for buying me for my early 18th birthday present. Luckily also i have 2 hard drives so i didnt loose everything as i did ave most of my things on my D drive considering its 80gb.

That won't change, I bought Vista yesterday which has only been out for a week and already there are updates

well i dont want to buy vista just yet as it is very expensive and when we had the beta verion the network didnt work.

The beta doesn't compare to the final version, if you do decide to buy it get the OEM version, you don't get a fancy box and save £150 on the ultimate version

Well I had words with Ingrid and she said that my dad tried the beta version and didnt like it so she doesn't want me to purchase it either.
