Ok now I have your attention I will explain,
Firstly this is not Photoshop itself but it is a Legit freebie and has all the features to be found in Photoshop...and the ironic thing is it is sponsored by Microsoft themselves.
(John, you can stop panicking now

)
We have all probably messed with MS Paint on our PC's as it is a standard part of the Windows Operating system. It is a very basic program and easy to use, In fact I do all my decals for my models on this programme. It doesn't do fancy shading though as well as some of the other clever effects found in Photoshop.
So how about a Microsoft sponsored Programme that does these things..??
The Programme is called Paint.NET and is basically MS Paint developed by universities to take it from where Microsoft left off. (It was originally intended to replace MS Paint)
The Link to it is here :
http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html
Have a read of the site, It is available as a free download and will NOT overwrite your existing MS Paint program. The download size is not big by any means.
You will need net framework 2.0 to run it, This is also a free download from Microsoft and the program should throw up the link to do so if you do not already have it installed.
This is a handy little program for us modellers so give it a whirl.
Regards.....Mark
