Reducing pictures.

What is the easiest way to go about reducing pictures for use on scale-models pages ? I use Paint shop pro,but always have problems getting the picture the right size,is it best to use the 'resize' bit or reduce the pixels ?
Would like to know the way you get to grips with this ?

personally i use ps pro as well , i resize to about 650 ixels, then i save the pic for the web, ( in the file menu) then select the best sized picture for teh forum, but there may be a better faster and easier way than this .

Use PSP resize then pixel size, you shouldn't have any problems

I use a freebie little program called Photo Resizer lite, it does just what you want nicely and the pics still come out ok, there is a Pro version available but you have to pay for that.

I have used it many times to upload pics up onto here and other groups

check the link and you will find both versions there, it is a very simple program to use.
