Software loading problem ?

Can anyone here help me with this problem ?
Flightsim 2004 whilst good in itself needs better scenery,to this end I have over the months purchased the excellent VFR Photographic scenery packages which literally overlay the original sparse mesh,up until now I have never had any problems whatsoever in installing them but at the weekend I purchased the latest overlay for my central area of the UK,any attempts at installing it come up with the following error-

Unhandled Exception
Error No.0x80070725
Description Incompatible Version of the RPC Stub
Setup will now terminate

I have contacted the manufacturers at Justflight and even they cannot throw any light on this problem !!
I have not done anything different in fact the simulator is a dedicated unit,so what can be wrong and what is a RPC stub ? so what can be wrong here ?

Operating system is Windows 98.

Looks like it's something to do with MS Office not being installed.

Microsoft Office 2000 or an Office 2000 Component Is Not Installed on Your Computer
If Office 2000 or an Office 2000 component is not installed on your computer, obtain and install the Mcrepair.exe tool. To do so, please visit the following Microsoft Web site, save the Mcrepair.exe file to the desktop, and then run Mcrepair.exe:
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...s/mcrepair.exe

Restart your computer after you install Mcrepair.exe.

Full explination of how to sort it is here
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;321915

Hope this sorts it

If when you visit this site you don't have to login each time then your cookies are enabled, you can go to Internet Explore/Tools/Privacy and see what your settings are there, for usual surfing it should be set to medium, but you can override automatic cookie settings in there.

Sonic that download has solved the problem, the software has loaded beautifully.
I have another problem now ! I have completed loading FS2002 onto XP but when I tried to open it came up with the following-Safemode has been enabled because your system is currently unable to use hardware acceleration ?
I then went and downloaded the latest version of Directx version 9,installed that but still no good keeps coming up with that legend ?
I have not experienced this before what do you think is wrong Sonic ?
I owe you at least a drink one day for assisting me,much appreciated !

FS2002 loading in safe mode-sequel.

Well Sonic loaded all of the updates, and also the unweildy Microsoft service pack 2 but still no joy in getting the hardware acceleration to work on FS2002 and onto XP.
Decided then to try FS2004 as I have quite a bit of extra scenery etc for this, installed and fired it up but when I accessed the simulator the screen just flickered badly,to shut it down all I could do was pull the plug,it then was difficult to re-boot but after waiting several minutes to clear the hard drive it eventually fired up again, anyway enough of that so un-installed that one as well thinking that it could cause some problems, not a very successful day, thats it I am going to bed ! goodnight to you and thanks for the assistance.
