Hi
Just a few photos to update the build.

The front wheels to give an idea of size are 8.25 diameter. The rear rings for the T rings are being machined on a 12 inch Kamakura rotary table from 1/4 inch mild steel stacked four deep. Each wheel has two rings each placed and welded into a rim. The rims are then joined using link plates and the strakes. Some 200 rivets go into each back wheel.
the rolling machine was made just to roll the rear wheel rims, the rollers are 2.5 inch diameter EN1a.
Spokes were milled from 1/8th mild steel in blocks of 8 welded together both ends. Each spoke then gets polished and finished. Per front wheel i see off 120 hours and each back wheel is about 200 hours.
The back wheels are riveted up whilst mounted on the 18 inch rotary table mounted on the Bridgeport mill Makes it easy to set out the spokes.

Chimney saddle was machined and hand filed from again EN1a due to the furnace being water logged preventing any casting work. I hate the rain!

Cheers Kevin
