I also found this site which stocks some milled channel in larger sizes:

I think milling will be the only way as I really need the corners to be sharp. Thanks for the advice and I think i'll be purchasing one of those axminster metalworkers in the new year!

Crash that boat looks absolutely superb, not only the metalwork but the woodwork is beautifull.

Can we please have some more pictures of it? I think that is a first for me to hear of machinery space skylights opening via a servo!! Brilliant!

Are you going to paint over all that beautifull brass or leave it for the world to see?

Thanks for that mr Bunkerbarge

A couple of picture of the operating rods , they are only temp to get the right lenth so I can make neat ones. you may be able to see the picture 32 is before I striped it all down to fiberglass, and make a new roof light, so its getting closer to being finnished, the engine is all sorted out just the side water tanks to make and PAINT that I hate. if you pm an e-mail address ill post a small vid of it working as I cannot get on with the u-tube sites
