Help please

Hi I am building a 1 1/2 inch Burel from plans bought from Ebay they leave a lot to be desired, I am currently trying to get the gears cut but the plans do not show the required info. Can anybody provide the information needed for the gears please. Diff Bevels, last pinion, Bevel pinion, Fast pinion, fast and slow wheel, Last drive. A lot to ask I know but any help would be much appreciated, Its my first attempt at a live model.

Hi Superstock
The gear sets for the Burrells are a lot of work as are most traction engine gear sets. I do have gear drawings for a couple of Burrels but you would need to let me know what engine your modeling. Sounds a bit like it could be a Thetford town. Drop me an email at [email address] il try to sort the drawings out may take till the back of christmas.

Cheers kevin

if they are old drawings then it sounds like a bassett and lowke 1.5" burrell traction engine.

Hello kevingambrell

Just a point if leaving your Email address I would leave out the @ sign as it can help stop junk mail and worse
