thanks guys for all chipping in and helping me.

i think i might spend a good while giving this some thought. i dont want to rush in and buy something this expensive. i want to assess all my options.

im still dwelling on the idea of getting one but not just yet.

ill definitely post some more questions on here in the next few weeks though.

I Purchased a Conquest Lathe Superfrom Chester UK. 01/02/08 delivery was 2weeks, I'm still waiting for my metric leadscrew! e-mailed manager 19/03/08 still waiting for a reply. The lathe is great, theSuper is a bit more expensive than the basic, but it comes with digital readout on both cross & compound slides, great for copying/repetitive work.

Just a quickie
Recently brought a small Mill from Chester and I CAN NOT recomend them at all was going to buy a lathe a little later but it will NOT be from there
