| Flight of the Phoenix (2) anyone seen it yet ?
'Flight of the Phoenix' (1)was a truly great piece of filming,sadly it was also responsible for the death of the renowned Paul Mantz,stunt pilot supreme and will a fitting memorial to him,it will always be remembered for its associations also with a model aircraft kit designer who redesigned the Fairchild C.82 Packet into a machine capable of flying out of the desert called 'The Phoenix'
I was wondering if anyone has seen the new version yet ? and above all can comment on the new look film made at great expense this time with a Fairchild C-119 Boxcar,many will argue that the first one will really be the best and only 'Phoenix' but lets here about the remake before everyones mind is made up.
