Nimrod loss

The Royal Air Force Base Kinloss in Moray is in mourning after the loss of the crew and two other serviceman in the crash of a Nimrod aircraft during operations in Afghanistan. The whole community is saddened.

Yes Duncan,lets hope that the problem of how and why it crashed will be found when the investigators look at the wreckage,but this could take some time to analyse,the aircraft has a fine service history and as we know was based on the beautiful De Havilland Comet airliner.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to all the brave airmen and crew in Afghanistan,and to the families of personnel serving with our wonderful Royal Air Force.
