I dont have this particular kit, I have a 1966 or 1967 "hawk/testors" version of the 1:48 scale Lysander which I have been considering building. I am glad to see you are going to build yours so i can get some ideas. I know this was a very famous wwII aircraft but over here in the states, I had never seen one even in a photo until i was probably 17 yrs old....I am 43 now.
Sorry i couldnt help but i look forward to seeing your build of this bird, have a good day,
Well, I don't know anything about the kit per se, but the Lysander was a very versatile aircraft often used where only a very short airstrip or field was available, e.g. dropping agents into enemy territory. That would make a great diorama!
HI Richard,Funny you should say that! Its exactly what I have in mind! A "Joe " arriving to a FFI welcome. ,coming shortly to a baseboard near you! Cheero Dave
The original Matchbox 1=32nd scale kit was a very nice kit to build,it looks very impressive once built up.
