making johnsons klear matt

Hello everyone,

Has anyone tried adding talc powder to Johnsons Klear (future) to give it a matt finish rather than the gloss finish that it naturally gives?

I've read it on the internet somewhere, but I'm not convinced at how well it would work. Has anyone tried it?

Cheers,
Dave

Never tried it, I always use Humbrol matt clear for a matt finish. There is a possibility it may affect the clarity and therefore the surface colour so I would experiment first.

Might work though and prove to be yet another available technique.
