At £46.50, that's a hefty price. What's gonna be so good about it? Any ideas? (I've never built a Mach2 kit, so I haven't a clue what to expect )
Cheers

Models such as this of such a specific and specialised subject have to be expensive to be in with a chance of recovering the initial tooling costs. I guess it is up to how much someone wants to build such a model.

I have just bought a very rare resin model of Stingray that retails from the kit manufacturer at 170.00 pounds. I was actually really pleased as I got it for half price!! Then, just to cap it all I am intending cutting it in half to put RC gear into it!! I doubted my own sanity at the time as well.

While I agree that the price is high it is dependent on your interests if no one else is manufactering to cater for this market then they can justify the price we all know that the model world has suffered a number of companies going under as the market shrinks. While browsing model shops I have seen model railway locos with three figure price tags numbers that would seriously make me wince..... having said that an upcoming project of a Boeing Stratocruiser £29.99 for the base kit £19 for the Cobra upgrade kit and £10 for BOAC decals is what I want to do its all about your passion. Lets not forget things are only worth what someone is prepared to pay for them.
