Last Christmas My missus bought me the Haynes manual for the spit. Excellent for reference and general info.

Last weekend whjist browsing round Waterstons I came across the maual for the Lanc - had to buy it.

It's based on the BBMF lanc with lots of colour photos. another excellent reference book

Hoipe they do a B17 and a P51 soon!

Hi Alan,

Didn't realise Hayne's did the manuals for these, I know they have branched out past car repair manuals. Still the books would make a great resource for the true scale modellers out there. (Or even the odd lucky full sized version owner !!)

Funnily enough, I read this post last night and actually saw the manual for the Spitfire in my local car spares shop today - I smiled when I saw it said on the cover - All models from 1936 onwards.
