| Prototypes worth modelling-The Yak 9
Everyone builds Spitfires,but there are some really interesting types also worth giving a go as flying model subjects,take for example the Yak 9,this design has everything going for it and with those Ruskie stars look impressive in camouflage,the small addition of bright colours helps you seeing the model in flight ! as anyone who has flown drably painted fighters will testify is not easy.
The example in the photograph by the way is a 'new build' example of the Yak 9 built in Russia.
