ok this is annoying, i cant find the magazine in the shops any were no were has it, but when i eventually get hold of it is there anything inside the issue that will say i can order past issues, or can i subscirbe?

Hi joey here is how you can get you issues first you can ask your local newsagent if you can place an order with them so you can get it and ask them to get the issues you have missed or if you can't you can subscribe to it by ringing the customer help line on 0870 920 1133 [monday - friday 9 am- 5 pm] Alteratively you can write to

I have some Info that may be of use to some people regarding the Hachette Nitro 4X4 model magazine.

I appologise if I repeat anything that someone else has said.

The magazine in question (NITRO 4x4 I think is the title) is £5.99 per issue (except the first two which are cheaper) and the model is built in 70 issues (1 magazine per week, so 70 Weeks, thats a year and a half!!!!) costing £419.30 and When I rang the company (0870 920 1138) to ask about RC gear and the IC engine (was it included in the price?) they tell me that if you buy the first 15 issues you get a token in each one, and then you send off the tokens with a cheque for £39.95 and then they will send you the IC engine and the RC gear. So for a model that can be bought in the shops for approx £250 this one tops £470.

I was considering it, but NOT now !!!

you are right about the rc gear but the engine comes in bits with each issue at christmas which come to bout £36 for the engine as i have a list of when all the parts are coming out if somebody needs no know when a part is comeing out just ask i wiil tell you when it does.

I am from New Zealand and I am also bilding the nitro monster truck but i am having trubill with the agent as they miss out mag's all over the place so now I have 10 parts that I do not have and thay are not in order eather so on we go but it is almost over in New Zealand
