Kyosho EP Blizzard (Wanted)

Hello all, I am on the lookout (not desperate) for a Kyosho EP Blizzard Snow Piste-ing tracked vehicle . There was one in my local model shop about 3 or 4 years ago. Ripmax / Kyosho have discontinued it and I now bitterly regret not having purchased it when the opportunity was there My interest lay with boats mainly but I did like the look of this machine. I am prepared to buy one in working order (It does not have to be pretty) if the tracks are in a reasonable condition. There is a limit to how much I will pay but to put that in perspective the advertised price for the kit /RTR was iro £160.00 when I saw it last. Obviously I would not need the Tx/Rx or batteries etc. just the basic machine. If anyone comes across one I'd be delighted to hear from you either by PM or e-mail to [email address]. If I am successful in the search I will let you know.

Many thanks for your interest

Jim

Dont forget Jim that you can conduct a search for past and present items on e-bay,just place the details into the browser for that section and the details will come up.

Thanks for the E-bay idea Barry. I personally have never even bothered to look in there befor. There was one listed as a BUY IT NOW with only a few minutes (-9:05s) torun and was in Dortmund, Germany @ Euro 269.00 approx £ 189.00 + p&p which I considered reasonable for a new Nitro powered machine. The link is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...hippingPayment

by the time I'd found the credit card the time had expired and on reflection that was that. Maybe I'll plead with my wife for one as a 40th birthday present (looming on the horizon) or I'll save up for one that way. There was also a e-seller in Hong Kong offering the same for £ 159.00 + £ 30.00 P&P. So to surmise they are definitely out there if one is prepared to order from afar. Still searching for the elusive second hand one in Electric.

All the best

Jim

p.s when I showed one of my mates what I was looking for his comment was "jsut so you can put a snowplough blade on and clear the driveway!" I had not even contemplated that use

Jim,all is not lost, just checked that page and they are regular sellers on e-bay as a chain of German shops, scroll down and click onto the various 'shops' logos, have a look at the contents of each shop and see if there is one listed there, failing this give it a few days and the items normally re-appear as they upload as a batch by turbo listers.
If you interpret the language by copy/paste and put it into a language converter ( free on the internet, just put 'language conversion' into Google) you should be able to contact them via e-bay's in house e-mail on the page.
Hope that this does not sound too complicated ! but basically if it was on the 'buy-it-now' scheme then you can bet it is still available from them.
Best of luck.

Kyosho Blizzard (tranlsated)

Once again my thanks are extended to you Barry, a true gentleman and so learned in the way of the web you must be fixed to your 'puter at all times I used Google and entered translate, lo and behold a few clicks later using Alta Vistas' Babel fish tranlator I had a document that I could understand with the odd bit of gobbledeygook thrown in to keep me on my toes. RESULT one happy, Jim.

Looking a lot more promising now that I can translate backwards into German too.

Thanks again

Jim
