Supermarket circuit.

Imagine the faces turning when two electric model cars are driven around the aisles while husband & wife do their shopping ! that was something that I witnessed at Sainsburys today, they looked as if they were enjoying themselves as shoppers looked on in amazement ! never seen anything like that before ?

Wait till the ambulance chasers and "divers" spot that opportunity for an easy "trip" to the bank ! Very professional model airships are common in German shopping malls and supermarkets. Carrying adverts for just about anything, they are 5mtr and 10 mtr long, quite scale looking with gondolas.swivling EDF powered. Based on Zeppelin NT design and manufactured appropriatley in Fredrichshaven. Talking to one of the pilots (in "aviation",he had as much English as I have German,ie very-little-to-nothing each! ) I learned that only half an ounce positive bouyancy is required for flying. Through-out the day gas had to be vented or added depending on temperature inside the hall. Cost was very high but the guys seemed to make a good living out of selling and flying them.
