Where can I get a 1:10 kit of a V8 engine block

My father wants to build a 1:10 (or bigger) scale model of a V8 engine block & is having difficulty locating one.

Does anyone know where he can buy such a kit in the UK?

Does it have to be V8? Here is a Rolls-Royce "Merlin" From USA. Good exchange rate at the moment. This one works and is quarter-scale. Maybe they do a V8 of another marque. I think you should try a model engineering forum.

Hello January,

Revell produce 3 model engine kits in transparent plastic with moving internal parts and one is a V8 at 1:4 scale.

you should be able to order one online or from your local model shop.

I seen them in my local model shop not to long ago.

Thanks for the feedback. He really wants a V8 if possible & the model engine forums I've looked at seem to all refer to models that were built from scratch rather than kits.

Do you have a link for the site you got your engine from?
