Yes Pres,
We have a few good spots around here in North Wales. One on the grass at Deganwy beach and another excellent place is at the Back of the Little Orme on the Penrhyn Bay side, it is an old wartime depot / quarry there and there is an excellent grassed area with plenty of bumps for jumps etc.....I usually see a few Savages up there...My nephew Tom (-=Nemesis=-) has photos of this place, will get him to post some up on here.
Of course there is always the beach as well, plenty of wide open sandy beaches here, Cars would need a thorough clean after running on that though....(Probably best avoided though due to that fact and the corrosion from Saltwater)

Regards.......Mark.

Can I just add to the importance of operation near salty conditions as this can wreck your model within hours if precautions are not taken,a quick spray with some WD40 or Duck oil to the chassis before use in any damp conditions will aid clean up later, also never neglect to protect receivers or any on-board electronic gear, ordinary party balloons over servos which also exit over the linkage and held with elastic bands or tie-wraps,and those vital RX covers which cost a few pence, receivers can die if subjected to water immersion, cans of gas fitters aerosols can be useful to blast chassis of debris, just be careful if you want to avoid un-necessary expense, have fun ! and lets have more hints and tips not only on your cars but such things as setting up courses and tracks for use with your models.
