Full sized radio control cars !!

Just been watching on 'Top Gear' some full sized radio controlled cars, that were built by Cranfield University. They used a quarry to set up a race course where a champion young lady battled it out with two other vehicles on a very muddy surface, they hooked up a caravan ( Jeremys favourite thingy ) and smashed a big iron block into the side,if that was not enough then a ramp was set up with a caravan at the very end as the cars smashed into it,there were more thrills and spills as the cars careered out of control smashing into heaps of soil, total carnage.
It could catch on in a big way !
The interiors were a work of art with what looked like huge low geared electric motors lashed to the steering wheel, accelerator and gear lever, but the main transmitter was no more than a standard Futaba Skysport 6.
