Did they throw a rope around the gold and tow it back to the front of the bus, then form a chain and throw out the gold onto the road bar by bar, then jump out and let the bus drop off the clif, hijack a couple of passing cars and so on and so on...?
Or maybe once thet towed the gold to the front of the bus they could get out and tow the bus back onto the road. Any good?

I`d have let the gold bars slide out then spent a long time searching the ravine later. Tedious and hard work but for a few million quid......! Anybody seen the latest version ? Wish they wouldnt meddle that way, The Italian Job was a classic as was IMHO.
