Ah Charlotte,

Do you mean the Bodyshell...??? These are available painted or unpainted from just about any model shop.....For a car that size you are probably looking at about £17.99 for a new shell..if you are lucky you will find one ready done at that price too, otherwise they tend to go up to about £25 for a ready painted one.

As yours is the HPI Car, these shells are readily available and the bodyclips are about £1 per pack.

If you don't mind painting your own shell, have a look in your local Halfords as some of their stores do stock HPI Cars and Spares..including Bodyshells, so you might be able to get them there. (My local Halfords does HPI Cars).
If not, try modelsport as suggested above, they have the lot.

And to Steve, good work so far, you will have a lot of fun with that one...keep us posted !!

Regards.........Mark

I think all halfords stores only stock the 1/10 bodyshells and afew monster truck shells but not the super size ones,i want to get another two HPI shells for mine as i want the Toyota GT-1 and a Lamborghini Murcielago but will have to wait to get them.

Steve,

I doubt you will want the supersize shell for that car as they are 280mm and 300mm wheelbase shells which will probably be way to big for your car.

Your car will be around 255 - 260mm wheelbase which is now the standard size for pretty much all 1/10th cars.

Check www.hpieurope.com and you can see what shells will fit your car, you have plenty of choice !!

Regards.........Mark

Hi mark i have taken two pics of the car next to my HPI Super Nitro Rally car to show the size and another one with a tape measure next to it showing the wheelbase size, but if you look at the pic in the first post of this thread the box should give away the size of the car and thats the reason why i got the car because it was the super size one and not 1/10 scale.

Hi Steve,

Nice looking models !!! I did not realise HPI did a supersize electric car...probably one of the only manufacturers that do these days so I will stand corrected on that one. Good luck with them. I do fancy their Murcielago too

The nitro one has only had 3 tanks through it and hasn't been fully run in yet and is still very much brand new and i started to run it in back in 2004 before i went on holiday in august, but after i came back of holiday i had to much back pain to go out and use them so my nitro cars haven't been used for nearlly two years now but hope to get back out there and get them running again.
