Does anyone know a good ESC and motor to use with 7.2v 3000mAh to 3600mAh battery packs for a basic setup as i have been looking on modelsportuk, but i don't know what motor to use with what ESC as i have only ever had the mechanical speed controllers and standard 540 motor in my electric cars.

And this is the first one i have had that needs a ESC and motor to match so any help will be grateful as i need it big time, also does anyone know a good charger to use with those batterys above as the charger i got only charges batterys upto 1800mAh so i need a new one.

i have no idea about r/c but for a charger....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...DME:L:RTQ:UK:1

i have a 3700mAh and will charge it (apparently...even though the manual says it wont (the guy says the manual is a bit out of date as bpacks above 3500mAh have only been out a while)

hope that helps

Dynamite,

You don't need a new charger. Nicads and NiMi's charge at a constant current so you just need to leave them on charge longer.
Do you know the charge rate of your present charger?
(or how long it takes to charge a know capacity battery)

J.

I need a new one as one charger works off 12v and the other one is a mains charger but for only 1300 size batterys so i need a combined mains and 12v charger, and i am now going for 8 cell battery packs instead of 6 or 7 cell battery as i want more power and longer run times.
