| I saw that model once on an Episode of Top Gear. It really is a perfect miniature replica ferrari. Apparently the guy always dreampt of owning a coffee table sized ferrari for his home - so he started to build one!
When he started it up and blipped the throttle it even sounded like a real Ferrari Racing V12 engine - the kind of sound that immediately puts you in mind of historic Motor Racing and sends shivers down the spine.
It's a Pure Work of Art - Fantastic stuff!

| This has been on television,it showed his luxury workshop, you start at his drawing board and gradually follow down the benches until the finished model appears,it starts up just like the real thing, amazing piece of model building.
Take a look at the amount of detail on the Titanic model as well.

| I just love model engines but to wrap it in a car is unbeleivable.
The whole world of model engineering is another subject in itself which contains many fascinating items of machinery. I have a four cylinder opposed piston engine at home, made from plans given in a magazine in the early sixties. Sometimes I just plug an airline in to enjoy watching it go around!!
Lovely stuff.

| Richard,I think that model engineers are amazing people,we had a chap visit Parkside at Rolls Royce some years ago,he demonstrated a working model of a Merlin Engine ! it was simply a outstanding piece of model engineering. Quote: |
