Howdy Miss Charolette and Iain,

Ok, this is what i have come up with online. I know I havent looked long, but one of these links seems to list alot of Mercury capri kits by various manufacturers (The chicago capri club link).
By the way, Mercury motors is a division of Ford motor comapny, here in the states we call them "Mercury Capri's".
Now the other link is to a diecast model car, however its not the yr model you are looking for, but since I only have two links, I thought I would include it also.
So, here they are, the first being the diecast link and the second is the capri club link:
http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/737_1.html

description:

Minichamps 1/18 Ford Capri 1969 Red (150 089000)
Although a fastback coupé, Ford wanted the Capri Mark 1 to be affordable for a broad spectrum of potential buyers. To help achieve that, it was available with a variety of engines. The British and German factories produced different line-ups. The continental model used the Ford Taunus V4 engine in 1.3, 1.5 and 1.7 L displacement, while the British versions were powered by the Ford Kent straight-4 in 1.3 and 1.6 L form. The Cologne V6 2.0 L served as initial range-topper. Until the end of the year, new sports versions were added: the 2300 GT in Germany, using a double-barrel carburettor and 125 PS (92 kW), and the 3000 GT in the UK, with the Essex V6, capable of 138 hp (103 kW).more.. </737_1_15251.html>

Price: £24.99

http://www.niagara.com/~fastford/ccc24.htm < Capri club of chicago link.

This link has way too much info on plastic kits of capris by all manufacturers for me to list.

I hope that this info is of some help to you, even though I couldnt find the specific kit you were looking for.

Have a good day,

Greg

One thing to remember is that the Capri sold in the US isn't the same as the one which sold in the UK. I saw a few kits which where of the US one Revell etc but the only UK Capri's where earlier and die casts.

Good Luck with the search - I'm sure there must be a kit out there somewhere though!
