Distinctly different

Hello all, Madaboutlotus, you are absolutely correct there IS A DIFFERENCE between M5 and 2BA. You will be able to force an M5 onto a 2BA but there will be sufficient damage to make it irretrievable for other uses. The only one you can really get away with the same diameter and pitch is M6 & 0BA.

HTH
cheers

Jim

p.s. Bill I mis-read your handle by reading, Mad About Louts, then wondered why anyone would want to be mad a bout a lout

Hi Folks.

I've Just tested the hull of My Ben Ain Coaster in the bath with prop shaft fitted.
The good news is no leaks. (Phew)
To add ballast at this point I put in 15 x400g food tins. The coaster was still sitting high but it was good enough to test the prop shaft was water tight.

Once I get the camera charged I will add a few pictures of the progress.
Cheers
Chris
