HMS Fly

Recently saw the new static kit from Victory Models of HMS Fly.

Looks pretty good , Uses etched brass frets for the hull decoration rather than castings, This gives a better scale to the decorations and are nice and delicate.

Good value for money

Hi Ken,

I bought HMS Snake a couple of months back but not had time to start yet. Have you built this kit, if so any comments to make on the subject.

Cheers

Chris

Yes, I did see the kit at Westbourne Models.

No, I didn't buy it (yet). for four reasons:-
1. No space to put it.
2. No spare cash to buy it.
3. Got Vigilant and Missouri to finish
4. Mrs P. says I have to sell something before I can buy another one

Guess which reason is the most important!!!!!!!

Chris, I've built HMS Diana but not HMS Snake. I fully recommend the Jokita Nelsons Navy series of kits
