A bit of thought is required when doing a barge, I've made a few and found that the 'lighter' or 'dumb barge' type were absolute pigs to tow. Even if fitted with a bridle they would want wander all over the place, the easiest to tow was the basic flat bottomed box, sloped up at the front.
The drilling rig was relatively easy...just two box sections as described above, joined together with plastic pipe, same for legs and some toy parts for the well head, wich comes off for storage and transport.
