Lightships

How about some coverage/discussion on lightships? They are a interesting subject and have been subject of models from plastic kits to full R/C sizes. The definitive web site on the subject can be found at www.feuerschiffseite.de (it is in English) run by a lady called from Kiel in northern Germany. She needs more model lightships I think. Have a look if you have an hour to spare. Iris.

Excellent and informative website and even a reference to the North Carr - now apparently berthed at Dundee - although I am sure I saw it at Anstruther aeons ago. But then maybe my memory is failing!

A fascinating subject indeed - has anyone else been to http://www.lightshipmodeler.iwarp.com ? A good source of information on models of this genre, I think you will all agree.
