The ship kit your waiting for.....

I have build plastic ship kit´s seens 1964.
And under all this years there has always been models on my wish list, that the manufacturer like Revell,Aurora,Renwal and Monogram etc. never did. Sutsh as cargo ships and tankers from the 30´s , and banana cargo ship from the 60´s.
Now to my question, what is the plastic ship kit you in the forum always wanted the manufacturer to do?
But never did?

I could always have wanted any of the ships I have sailed on over the years. Apart from the QE2 non of the others have been famous enough to merit a model!!

I would love a model of my first ship but it would be completely unknown to the rest of the world and therefore not suitable for a plastic kit.

I would like one though!

Why not scratch build one Richard ? I have made wooden models of all of the aircraft that I worked on in the sixties.

That is something I have considered but all my spare time is going into the steamer at the moment and so far I have over three years in that.

I expect it to be at least another two to three years before I am anywhere near finished with it so time is the limiting factor.

I have a whole list of things ready for my retirement!!
