Hello Jim, Wash all plastic components in warm soapy water and allow to air dry (to remove any release agent) there is a plastics cement with a 'hypodermic type nozzle' this gives an A1 delivery of adhesive, follow build instructions in the makers order, pre paint as much as you can but mask off bonding surfaces, if you are using 'Dayglow' orange for the superstructure it is very sticky and will not brush out, its a case of good quality flat brush and get it right first time or it will dry streaky. The only other way is air brush several coats, get the motors and radio gear in place before fitting decks, it is worth doing a mock up of the inside of the hull and placing every thing out to check positions, access etc. regards, Aquarama

Jim, as this is one of the latest offerrings from Airfix I would be very interesting to see just how good the standard of the kit is and, more to the point, how do they now measure up to the Japanese/Chinese offerrings.

Any comments and pictures during your progress will be very much appreciated.
