Perkasa gearing help
Hi everyone, I have almost finished building my KD Perkasa 49" and I would like to use electric in it, but I haven't got a clue on how many motors' I may need and what size. What size rudders should I use on it and how many? Propellers...what sort and how many? Prop shafts...what size? Speed controllers....how many and what kind? Couplers to join everything together etc....and what kind of radio gear should I use for this boat? This is the first time that I have ever built any type of remote control so any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

you might want to see if you can find a model boat group or a model retailer. they would be your best bet, And you may find some new buddy's!

You really are at the wrong stage of the build to be putting in shafts, motors and rudders. They should have been installed very early on in the build, even before the deck went on.
I would suggest you have a trip over to Mayhem, and ask your questions there, I am sure that someone over there will have been thru exactly what you are going thru now.
