1:1 scale train

Acouple of years ago I had a hip replacement op under a "fast track" scheme which gave me "private" treatment under the auspices of the NHS.
The op was done in a new hospital at Darlington.
What's that to do with trains?

Nearby is a full size "model" of a train emerging from a tunnel.
The whole thing is built from bricks - smoke emission from funnel and all.
IMO it is worth a trip to Darlington just to see that.

As for the hip - it's great - for anyone else suffering as I was, if an offer is made for a replacement, DO IT - all you have to lose is the pain.
