New to the site, only joined last week.

Not posted in the train section yet.

Other than my intrest in american muscle cars and drag racing im a keen OO railway modeler.

Have around 50 locomotives and these variey from 70-80s BR Blue era diesel, Some BR green Diesel and the rest is LMS/ BR steam with a little bit of LNER

A few years ago i found now obsolete Metro Vickers COBO kit made by Qkits.

Only paid about £15 for it.

Built the body up and must say that i was far from impresed with the quality of it.

Anyway all that comes with the kit is very poor castings of the bogie side frames.

Can anybody suggest some suitable donar locos to remove the motor bogies from to construct a chassie?

Want to try and avoid going down the Dublo route if possible as they go for alot more than what i want to spend on this project.
