Talking A Model Town

After the Dortmund Specials at the weekend did anyone watch "A Model Town"?

I was wondering if all model train makers are as dillusional as the presenter. My wife thought me sad to watch for so long (possibly as I do not have an interest in model railways) but I made her watch five minutes and realise for herself how entertaining it was.

Here is Percy Sedgewick, the local postmaster. At the weekends Percy organises raves in the back bedroom of his 2 bed flat above the Post Office. It was at one of these raves that he met Joanne Black, a dental assisitant from neighbouring Puddle Town. He wants to have kids but she is left barren after a boating accident six years previously.
Do railway enthusiasts all make up histories of the people on their layouts?
