Well I never knew there were 2 of them until now nice job did Lothar fly in the same circus as Manfred did I know Manfred was shot down either by infantry fire or Roy Brown's SEA 5

Thanks Colin.
I'm not sure they flew together, but the latest theory is that Manfred was shot down by a lucky shot from an infantryman.

No you are both wrong. I'm sure you have to make the noise of a really slow machine gun, the sort were you can actually count the rounds. Just try it in your head - it works.

But yes, what a bright little thing that is. Nice job.

Fantastic work by any standards, Ian, but especially when you bear in mind this kit was almost contemporary with the original Dr.1! I love the colour scheme you've chosen, and the 'wooden' parts (prop, seat, skids) look great.

Lovely job on an old kit. Always amazes me how small these WWI biplanes were in reality.
