That is looking great! I always appreciate a bit of two wheel action.

Another positive day on the Norton. At this stage, it appears to be find a load of small bits, clean them up, spray them, wait for them to dry then assemble into what appears to be nothing. However it does grow slowly.

First up, the wheels. Bit of a pain with the gloss black hubs but I got there

Then it is a case of locate all the bits for the front forks and spray them gloss black. Sit back and drink that cup of tea while it drys and then locate the parts that need to be chrome and then spray over the black. I know some people are more organised than me and locate every piece to paint the same colour but I just do it in sections.

Put these bits and bobs together though and, by Jove, it’s starting to look like a motorbike

So now, it is back out with the engine and finish it off then I will be on the final lap, I think........

Another frustrating fiddly bits day on the Norton. Got all the bits on the engine and re fitted it and the gearbox permanently into the frame and started the ‘plumbing’. Annoyingly, many of the ‘pins’ were too thick for the tubing but I have most of it done. Rear swinging arm in place with rear wheel and ‘working’ suspension. This is a pain as there is no stops so it all falls to bits if the rear wheel goes too low.

Really thought I would finish it today but once again, it seems to have taken ages to achieve very little. Tomorrow should see it finished, I hope. Time to start thinking what the next one will be......

Looking forward to the finish.

Me too Ralph. It is one I have wanted for a long time and it has been very much as I expected to build but, sadly, it is struggling to hold my interest. I have to finish it before I start something else or I will never finish it.
