Precision Ice & Snow

I was just thinking the other day how to make snow?
Some say salt, others say baking powder, but I doubt any of them sparkle like this one...

It's impossible to order anything right now to Sweden since PostNord (our postal service) has properly broken down and all imported packages are lying in sacks on the tarmac at Arlanda airport for weeks and weeks because they can't handle the inflow - and to make matters worse many of them are returned because when notifications aren't sent out for them to be picked up they are returned per default after three weeks - and PostNord are not taking any responsibility for this so your money is gone unless you can convince the sender to refund you. I've lost 5 kits just this autumn this way and I've currently got another 9 in limbo right now which should've been delivered in November

If anyone buys the Precision Ice & Snow, please write a few lines about it and take some photos because I like what I see!

Many thanks!

I think that can be a cunning plan as soon as the Christmas madness has quieten down a bit over here... People are trying to bypass our defunct postal service with any other service so they are bogged down too right now, but they at least deliver their stuff!

Good usage of Precision Ice & Snow here.

The snow looks really good, and I was born 200 km south of the northern polar circle so I should know ;)

I've been keen to try with either salt or sugar but salt is hydroscopic and sugar attracts all sorts of flies and bugs so I opted not to in the end. This looks like a good option!

I was looking at the precision ice & snow but I don't understand what "size" to get since they're in some weird railway scale - I think?

What should I get for 1/35 scale?
Perhaps it doesn't matter but I thought I'd ask since there are three different sizes and I rather look stupid and ask instead of rolling the dice and get something microscopic... ;)

Cheers!

Cheers! :thumb2:
It turned out that I'd misunderstood the sizes and in fact it was really simple...

HI John sorry only just seen your post ... If you look for thin ice in the finished diorama section you can see the model with snow and ice.
