      Built Pocher Model Cars

I wonder if anyone would be able to help me out with some information on some Pocher models my Grandad built in the 70's/early 80's. His local model shop used to pay him to build kits up for them to sell (so they're built to a very high standard) but he also used to make some for himself. The family each have one or two of his cars but have no idea of the value and my parents (who've recently had to downsize) are taking one of them to auction. They don't know what sort of reserve to put on it but are talking £50-£100 which seems phenomenally low when the un-built kits seem to go for more than that. It's a 1/8 1907 Fiat racing car, in a case and in excellent condition. Would you have any idea what they should be looking at selling this for? I have a 1934 Rolls Royce Torpedo Cabriolet Phantom II and my sister has a Mercedes.

I'd be really grateful for any advice you could give on these.

      Thanks

Unfortunatly something is only worth what someone is willing to pay, I'm guessing you might put a higher value on them because of the sentimental value, but posting pictures might give people more info and maybe give you better advice.

The best advice I can give is search the internet for the same as you want to sell. E-bay is always a good place to start.
Your Rolls Royce for example, there is one on e-bay right now and the price is now at, sitting down? $2,060. (£1300) There is an other but that only costs $1900 (£1100).
A fiat in top quality was sole for around £1300 a while ago. I think you might want to reconsider that Reserve. If not I'll give you £100 here and now for it! (only joking).

One day when I grow up, I would love to build one of them.
