Always good to start with an introduction I guess!

I'm Liam, Been into (and out of) modelling for years now, Looking to get back into it since stumbling across Paul Slade's Fire Brigade Models range.

I've been obsessed with everything Fire Brigade related since I was about 4, and it's always frustrated me that there's never really been much on the market in the ways of fire appliance models aside from the few that revell did.

And as far as English appliances, there's been nothing I've ever seen, until recently anyway.

So, I've ordered myself a Scania 94 in strathclyde livery and I can't wait to get going.

I'm definitely gonna need help though! It's been a loooooong time since I've painted or assembled anything, and I've only worked with resin models on one occasion before now. I did a lot of warhammer in my teens so hopefully I've still got the fine brush skills I used to have.

Aside from the modelling world, I'm a mish-mash of a lot of different things. I work a pretty normal job in a Paper conversion plant. Play drums in a band which takes up most of my time (and money) And run two Cadet units with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.

On which note, If I do a WIP thread for my next model it will be a slow and boring one!
