I like the Ju52!
Yes a good way to display when space is tight. The Do17e at the end is a old resin kit. It was as rough as b nd and twisted it did scrub up nice though.
I'm pretty pleased with the Ju52I finished it Christmas 06 and suffering from flu, that really helped concentration with the decals *phew*.

Alan
You can now. Put one in the gallery the other night.
It still needs a little work though that is basically it.
Back now to my 747, 737 and 707. This modelling malarky never ends

Clipper Girl, you are a breath of fresh air to the forum ! we love your collection of models and the diverse interests ie Luftwaffe & PAA themes.
A cottage is a difficult place to display models but you seem to be making the most of what space you have there.
A shed person too I see ? most useful commodity for those like us with little space to display,I like the idea of an airfield layout, something that has interested me for some time now,but mine will be to 1=200th Dinky Toy aircraft size with a portion of a runway and apron etc, there are plenty of buildings available to that scale.
Have you done any of the IPMS shows ? the reason that I say this is because there is a lady who does model building alongside her husband, and I got talking to them both, they enjoy building models together in the evenings, how wonderful !
I was just wondering if it could be you ?
Happy modelling to you and yours.

Have you modelled a Lockheed Constellation in PanAm livery? It's always been one of my favourite aircraft -

Lockheed L-749 Constellation N749NL

Lockheed Constellation model 1049 (Likely Lufthansa)

Hi Wonwinglo. Thank you for your comments. My interests do vary, had a big spell of Luftwaffe/Third Reich for years. I just fancied a break, all that dropping bombs on people can get to a girl after a while you know. After all we are meant to be delicate creatures...yer right! I then had a Zomblie phase, still love Resident Evil and the games, but again needed a break...so I went for the pretty option: air Hostesses and Airliners.
Oh yes...sheds, sheds and more sheds! We are waiting to pick up two more this year, one is for my airliners for sure, won't have room for a scale airport, just a hint I think. Besides mixing a Boeing Clipper with a 747 might be a tad strange even for my surreal life. Luckily we have a field for a garden, so we are okay for space.

No it wasn't me at the shows, not that I know of. I haven't been to Telford for years, it comes at a funny time for me now. Used to go years ago and def going to Cosford, April this year, though I'm always upset to see the spaces where the airliners used to be, I have very fond memories of being in the 27ft club, naughty I know but FUN!!!! Who knows what I'll see at Cosford to buy, the last time they held a model show I only had enough for a coffee, imagine how that felt.
Usually for shopping though it's Parabellum/Aviation Hobby Shop/Hannants/Evans' in Northampton/Shrewsbury and local..or of course the dreaded flea-bay and online from other sources. Martlesham Models website is very useful for me too. Being where we are there isn't much in the way of after market stuff. Lucky we get to England once or twice a month.

In answer to your question Alan2525 I got a Corgi one off flea-bay! I'm not daft, might be ugly, but not daft, in my opinion it's better in some places than the Hobbycraft one and I didn't have to do anything to it as such, just put it with my others. I have a DC3 and Boeing Sausageplane the same.

In response to wonwing's comments about 1930's flying boats - how about one of these?

I just love these photos too!

Yup have one of those that needs fixing up*, I think they are really pretty. I also have Glencoe Martin Clipper on the go.
There is a wonderful book, Last Of The Flying Clippers worth a look too. Ahh the glamour.
Have you ever read Night Over Water? That is a nice distracting read too.

*Cats eh!* tsk.

Thank yoo. Just being myself really.
Sea Otter plans? I'll ask Ian if we see him at the weekend. He might be able to help though I can't answer for him, worth asking anyway.
