new to the group

Hello everyone, just introducing myself as I'm new to the forum.
This is the first forum I've decided to join and be active on, following recommendation from my girlfriend Pan_am_clipper _girl, life and modelling partner for more years than she'd like to admit to.
My interests are general, but I model and collect specifically 1/48th aircraft UK, US Airforce and Navy, German Japanese and Italian , military any era.
I also build 1/144 civil and military, and some 1/32, as takes my fancy and have also been building 1/48th Military vehicles. Nautical modelling is a marginal interest, but I like to model anything available in scales consistent with my aviation modelling. All rather eclectic seeming but hopefully there is some method in my madness, unlike Perry!

Hi matti, welcome.

You seem to have plenty to choose from with those interests, i stick to boats myself, but that's just my choice. No doubt Pam has mentioned the scope of this site, plenty aircraft types, in all mediums it seems.

J.

Howdy Matt,

Welcome to the forum, glad she "made" ya come lol. I too am into 1:48th scale aircraft, alot of unusual types....welll unusual to some, not so unusual to others. Maybe different "subjects" of familiar aircraft is more the proper description. Anyway, we all look forward to seeing your work, we've seen the messerschmidts on the wall but we like to see all ya got.
If ya have questions please ask. if ya have answers, feel free to jump in and help. I think ya will like it here.

have a good day and again, welcome,

Greg aka GEEDUBBYA (GW)
