Hello from a newbie

Hi All and Hello
I recently started modelling again after a twenty year gap as something to help combat the strains of the daily grind. Apart from realising that my eyesight isn't as good as it was when I was twenty, I'm having to re-learn the skills and techniques all over again, hence finding you guys.

I guess the main models I'm interested in are 1950s era jet fighters. I dunno why that floats my boat but it does.

Current re learning projects have been a 1/72 SAAB Drakken which I stumbled through over the past week and a 1/48 F-105 'Thud' Which I'll probably start tonight.

Already I'm learning from the Drakken and am hoping that the Thud will be a step nearer to remember some of what I have forgotten

Cheers

Gorbs

Hello, yourself. I just got back in after a 30+ year gap and know all about the eyesight thing! And the re-learning, as well. But, it is a lot of fun, isn't it?
