Hi from Brazil

Dear friends
I'm from Brazil and a 50 years modeller.
I'm an ex-member of Brazilian Air Force where, during 30 years from 1960 to 1999, I worked with such planes like Gloster F8, North American T-6 and B-25, C-47, Lockheed T-33, Bell UH-1D, etc,..
Now, with 66, retired, my hobby is to make models of the airplanes used in Brazil from the beginnings to these days, civilian and military, in 1/72 or 1/144 scale, scratch or not.
If some fellow needs info, pictures, facts about Brazilian aviation, please, let me know.
I ask you also some patience when reading my words cause my English language knowledge is something precarious...Please, don'n laugh my errors !
Best regards to all
Alva

Howdy Alva,

Welcome to the forum, we are glad to have you here Now i am an avid plastic model builder myself, but when you stated you were from Brazil, I thought of cardmodels right away. One of my favorite sites on the internet for cardmodel aircraft is owned by one of your fellow countrymen, CARLOS ROBERTO LIBERATO and he offers free downloads of "cardmodels" of aircraft of the Brazillian Airforce on his website found here: Brazilian Air Force Paper Models - Downloads . I am not sure whether you have ever built a cardmodel before or not, but they are a great hobby as well. So you might visit Carlos' site and check out his offerings.
I know of maybe one or two other sites with aircraft of the Brazillian Air Force but I will have to look them up again and that may take abit of time.... I will look for them and post them when i find the links again and then you can have a look at them and maybe give them a try too .

Again, welcome to the forum and have a good day,

Greg aka GEEDUBBYA (GW)

Below are some of the aircraft carlos offers on his site:

(above: Brazilian Air Force Aerotec T-23 Uirapurú, Focke Wulf Fw-58 C2 Weihe, Brazilian Air Force Embraer AT-27 Tucano, Brazilian Air Force
Curtiss P-40 N Warhawk, Brazilian Air Force Republic P-47 D Thunderbolt and Brazilian Army Aviation Vultee V-11GB2 Vultizão. All of these models can be downloaded, printed on your home computer, cut out and assembled with glue. These are NOT 2 dimensional models, but 3 dimensional models that are similar in appearance to plastic kits when completed. All markings are already on the aircraft parts when printed.)
