The Hoarder

Hi, I'm Rob, and live in Bedfordshire UK.
Re-started modelling after a long break (very long) and just building up a nice new stash again after losing the last one in domestic upheaval!!!

Just made my first couple kits to get my hand back in.

I only know one other modeller, all my other friends/colleagues just give me a withering stare and think I'm from another planet or something when I mention building plastic aeroplanes!!

Still, my new partner is quite supportive, she even bought me an airbrush for me birthday! I reckon she thinks the hobby keeps me off the streets and hanging out with the hoodies supping cheap cider at the bus stop!!
'nuff for now, don't want to bore you!!

Hi Rob,

Welcome to the Forums, there is plenty of info & help on here. if you get stuck, just ask. Please feel free to share any pics of your models with us too.

I know what you mean about friends always giving you strange looks when you say you make models, I think most of us have had that some time or other, myself included. Funny how they all seem to be impressed though when they see the models !!
