Good evening.
I am Aaron, living in Japan at present although originally from New Zealand.
I have been modelling since I was 5, my grandfather and father have built models and of course I am bitten by the bug. I have previously built rally car models although started out with WW1 and WW2 planes. I have recently been obsessed with ww1 and WW2 aircraft again. Being incredibly interested in WW1 and WW2, especially regarding the war in the air, I see building the planes as a way of having a little slice of history on my shelf at home.
I am currently building a Pfalz D111 by Eduard. Living in Japan provides me with endless models and my local hobby store staff are amazing, buy one model and get 20% off. Buy two kits and get 50% off. I purchased today a 1:48 Spitfire Mk.Vb (Tamiya) and a 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf109F-2 (Hasegawa) and will build them after the Pfalz is complete.
Looking forward to learning the tricks and tips off the pro's and everyone else here.
