| New user from across the pond. Found this terrific site while googling "Dry Brushing Technique" found some help and thought to stick around. I am sure I'm like a lot of you blokes, I have lots of ideas just not enough time. I have probably 5 dozen models in boxes that i have not assembled, mostly High Grade and Master Grade Gundam models (Older military type, less animish). A few Rally cars and Sport Cross cars in the works. And in the past the typical hot rods and airplanes.
First model was a F-16 Fighting Falcon, assembled with scotch tape at the age of 6, parents wouldn't let me use glue. Until i got a cousin to get me a tube. Then painted it gloss black with silver sidewinders.
Current projects - Polar Lights DMC Delorean "Back to the Future" 1985 version. Heavy Arms Custom Master Grade - Endless Waltz Movie version.
I know this is dragging a bit but if anyone has any recommendations for a nice airbrush and compressor I would be grateful. Wife is always dragging me to Michaels (Craft Store her in St. Louis) and they constantly give out 40% off one item and they do not say airbrushes and comps are excluded, only Cricut machines and cartridges.
Thanks in advance. |
