Just joined up and thought I'd better say hello and give an intro.
I'm an aussie who indulges in scale model warship combat, and builds 1:700 models of all his combat vessels. I really build the 1:700s to give me a better idea of what my combat ships should look like before the small bits get shot off, but what the heck, I like them anyway.
Hi darren and a warm welcome to the Scale Models forum. There are actually some good video clips on You Tube nowadays of your hobby but I just can't get into the idea of destroying your pride and joy as it sails across the pond!! I know it is all supposed to go back together good as new but it still isn't for me. There are some great models out there though and quite a bit of skill required to actually get a shot in at the opponent below the water line.
How about a few pictures?
