Hi all and a big hello to everyone

My name is ian and i've been lurking around this forum for ages and i always was meaning to post on it but never getting round, so here i am

i've got a big interest in the RAF and i just love the lancaster.

Anyway to carry on looking and learning.

Hi Ian and welcome to the forum. Plenty of aircraft stuff here so lots for you to enjoy. Feel free to post something of your own when you want so we can all see what you get up to.

I'm particularly fond of the Lancaster myself, it just seems to have a shape and a character all of it's own. Did you see the one flying down the Derwent valley recently as commemoration of 60 (I think) years since the Dambusters Raid? I wish I'd been there to see it myself but the pictures were stunning.

i saw the lanc' fly over our house on that day but didn't go as there would have not been any parking spaces and the police said that they would be dishing out tickets to cars parked on any parts of the road
When i get round to it i'll post some of my models, 'Wonwiglo' has a picture of my 1/48th avro lincoln some where on this site.
